Being the Church
In our current series ‘Being the Church’ we look at some of the principles adopted by the early Church which saw remarkable results. As we read in Acts 2:42-47:
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
We are on a journey to be a Church that is devoted to the Bible, to fellowship, prayer, and the breaking of bread. We must go together, and as we go may we hunger for His presence and power. We must be generous with our time, talents and treasures; and we must be committed to reaching others, with our prayer being the growth of His Church.
Our hope is that we may again see a day when thousands are added to His kingdom, and we hope that you will join us on this journey as we seek Him and devote ourselves to His word.
