VISION

Helen Keller once said, The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision”.

Rob & Silmara Gale became the lead Pastors of the Peoples Church in August 2022.  On our first Sunday, we committed to the church to take some time to Seek God wholeheartedly, when we heard his plan we would Obey Him fully, and then we would need to Rely on God totally, as we sought to outwork the vision that he gave us. God has been faithful.

We sensed God speaking to us out of Acts 2:

"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

Mission Statement

A GENEROUS-HEARTED ARMY OF ORDINARY PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, COMMITTED TO CHRIST, LIVING OUT UNITY AND HONOUR, EXPERIENCING HIS POWER, GOING ON MISSION IN BESTWOOD AND BEYOND.

We want to see those who call Peoples Church home to become fully devoted disciples of Christ.

Make a Difference

We have been called to make a difference in Bestwood, Nottingham and our world through local mission and working with our partners.  We can make a difference together.  We believe that from our current community base in Bestwood, we will plant life-giving churches in many areas of the city.
