Bible Studies

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God:

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. – 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We believe that the study of God’s word is important if we want to grow in our Christian faith. Part of that growing is getting to know Jesus Christ in a deeper way and knowing His will and purpose for our lives.

It is believed that Mark’s story of Jesus’ life was the first of the Gospels to be written. He misses out genealogies but dives in with a connection to the ‘beginning’. He ends with abruptly, causing us to think about our reaction, and in between he weaves the events of Jesus’ life without too much reference to the Old Testament or the chronology of Jesus’ life. He covers all areas, and over the course of the next few months we will be looking at some of these areas in greater detail.

So who is Mark, and what does he tell us about Jesus? How does he tell us about Jesus? Why does this matter to our lives today?

Because the question is always: what will you do with the Good news of Jesus?
