Starts Tuesday 3rd March 7:30pm
It is believed Mark’s Story of Jesus’ life was the first of the Gospels to be written.
He misses out genealogies but dives in with a connection to the ‘beginning’.
He ends with abruptly, causing us to think about our reaction.
And in between he weaves the events of Jesus life, without too much reference to the old testament or the chronology of Jesus life.
He covers all areas but the focus is on the last few weeks leading up to the death and resurrection of Jesus.
So, who is Mark, what does he tell us about Jesus?
How does he tell us about Jesus?
Why does this matter to our lives today?
Because the question is always: What will you do with the Good news of Jesus?

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God:
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We believe that the study of God’s word is important if we want to grow in our Christian faith. Part of that growing is to get to know Jesus Christ in a deeper way and to know His will and purpose for our lives.
Our Bible study session is held once a fortnight on Tuesdays at The Peoples Church at 7:30pm.
